Yes on Measure W - San Rafael Services

Vote YES on W because San Rafael is a community worth protecting, and that means making sure the services and infrastructure residents rely every day on are there when we need them.

Measure W provides locally controlled funding to maintain rapid 9-1-1 emergency response, support police, fire and medical services, keep streets and sidewalks safe and well maintained, address homelessness and illegal dumping, and prevent flooding by maintaining aging storm-drain systems. San Rafael maintains 173 miles of streets and sidewalks, 25 parks and infrastructure serving nearly 60,000 residents, while facing a $4 million annual street-maintenance shortfall. Some storm-drain infrastructure is more than 50 years old. Measure W keeps funding local, with independent oversight, annual audits and public disclosure of spending.

Measure W allows San Rafael to address critical needs now - before deferred maintenance becomes more expensive and harder to fix.
