General Election Information Fall 2012—Tuesday, November 6, 2012

The general election is almost upon us and the Democratic Party of Marin is in full swing working hard to support President Obama in both battleground states and in California.

We encourage every Democrat to participate and vote, not only for the President but also for our endorsed local, state and national candidates for office. We also ask all registered Dems to encourage their family, friends and co-workers to register before the deadline of October 22.

Election 2012 Important Dates and Deadlines:

• Last day to register to vote—October 22
• Last day to request an absentee ballot—October 30
• Last date to mail in ballot for timely delivery—Must be received at Registrar on Election Day, Nov 6
• Poll voting —Tuesday November 6, 2012
